Important !!

Dear Authors,

We are proud to announce that Cellular & Molecular Biology Letters became a part of BioMed Central system, the first "open access" Editorial House.

Unfortunately with the change of Editorial House the publication charges had changed. You should be aware that the present APC (Article Processing Charge) is 1420.00 GBP/manuscript, which replaces the previous page charges.

Ramipril has recently been shown to have anti-atherogenic properties. However, the specific mechanisms underlying these effects remain unclear. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of ramipril on induction of adhesion molecules in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) using high-glucose (HG) conditions and to investigate possible underlying molecular mechanisms. The effects of ramipril on expression of intercellular adhesion molecule ...

Manuscripts are accepted for review with the understanding that no substantial portion of the study has been published or is under consideration for publication elsewhere, and that its submission for publication has been approved by all the authors and by the institution where the work was carried out. Manuscripts that do not meet the general criteria or standards for publication in Cellular & Molecular Biology Letters will be returned to the authors, without detailed review. As soon as possible after submission, authors are asked to send the filled Transfer of Copyright Agreement form to the Editorial Office (See page about submission information).

It is anticipated that the page charge of 30.00 EUR per printed page will be paid by the authors. However, payment of the charge is not a condition of publication. Colour illustrations will be published at the author's expense. The actual prices are available from the Editorial Office.

Cellular & Molecular Biology Letters will publish free of charge black-and-white advertisements and announcements about scientific events such as conferences, workshops and courses. Commercial advertisements are welcome at a special rate of 200.00 EUR per full page and 120.00 EUR per half page. For details, please contact the Editorial Office.
