THE POTENTIAL ROLE OF O-GlcNAc MODIFICATION IN CANCER EPIGENETICS
There is no doubt that cancer is not only a genetic disease but that it can also occur due to epigenetic abnormalities. Diet and environmental factors can alter the scope of epigenetic regulation. The results of recent studies suggest that O-GlcNAcylation, which involves the addition of N-acetylglucosamine on the serine or threonine residues of proteins, may play a key role in the regulation of the epigenome in response to ...

SCOPE OF THE JOURNAL

Cellular & Molecular Biology Letters is an international journal dedicated to the dissemination of fundamental knowledge in all areas of cellular and molecular biology, certain aspects of biochemistry, biophysics and biotechnology. Regular papers and short communications that contain new and significant information of general interest to workers in these fields are welcome. Sufficient detail must be included to enable others to repeat the work. The journal also invites timely reviews and mini reviews. Particularly welcome are papers dealing with:

Manuscripts are accepted for review with the understanding that no substantial portion of the study has been published or is under consideration for publication elsewhere, and that its submission for publication has been approved by all the authors and by the institution where the work was carried out. Manuscripts that do not meet the general criteria or standards for publication in Cellular & Molecular Biology Letters will be returned to the authors, without detailed review. As soon as possible after submission, authors are asked to send the filled Transfer of Copyright Agreement form to the Editorial Office (See page about submission information).

It is anticipated that the page charge of 20.00 EUR per printed page will be paid by the authors. However, payment of the charge is not a condition of publication. Colour illustrations will be published at the author's expense. The actual prices are available from the Editorial Office.

Cellular & Molecular Biology Letters will publish free of charge black-and-white advertisements and announcements about scientific events such as conferences, workshops and courses. Commercial advertisements are welcome at a special rate of 200.00 EUR per full page and 120.00 EUR per half page. For details, please contact the Editorial Office.
