Proper formatting of the bibliography according to the Cellular and Molecular Biology Letters output style is crucially dependent on the proper input of reference types into the reference library.
We currently prefer the following reference types:
- Book
- Book section
- Conference proceedings
- Journal article
- Patent
- Series (e.g., a chapter in a book that is a part of series published under the same title)
- Thesis
When creating their reference records database, the authors should use a proper template for the input. Inappropriate reference types or input styles will not be properly identified by the output style, and references in the bibliography will not follow the proper output format. In this case, they must be corrected manually at the final stage of manuscript creation.
Please remember that abbreviations will be inserted into the bibliography only if the appropriate abbreviations were inserted in the Alternate Journal field in the reference library.
The output style Cell_Mol_Biol_Lett-2.ens should be located in the folder STYLES of your EndNote program. If it is, then you can choose it from the STYLE MANAGER.
During the creation of the reference records database, we recommend linking it with the proper Journal Terms List.
The Attached Journal Terms List BiotechBioSciChemMed.txt should be located in the TERMS LISTS folder.
